Logistics Dispatcher
We are a 24-hour medical logistics service with live 24-hour dispatching from our Memphis TN office.
Therefore, eligible candidates must be available to work weekend shifts as well as holidays.
Eligible candidates will:
· Must have 2 years dispatch experience
· Have fluent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Must be available for weekend shifts and holidays
· Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Must be able to pass a national background check, drug screen, and have no felonies, alcohol, or drug-related charges in the last 7 years.
· Must be motivated and able to successfully complete tasks with minimal supervision.
We coordinate and handle time sensitive packages such as organs for transplant, lifesaving medication, skin & tissue for burn patients and many other extremely critical packages. It is of the utmost importance that we add a skilled and mature candidate to our talented staff. Therefore, we ask that no phone calls be made concerning this ad.
Must learn to adapt well to a fast pace busy office.
Must be a self-starter and learn the business procedures.
60 day probationary period
Must follow ALL company policies and attendance guidelines.
Work Well with others in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
· Excellent attendance history is a must! Punctuality is a must!
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting is a must!
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Specimen consolidation
· Answering calls from drivers throughout the company
· Routing and assigning jobs to drivers
· Responding to client questions, calls, and emails
· Monitoring and communicating with drivers for the successful completion of all jobs.
· Entering data into Excel spreadsheets.
· Communicating with others within our company and with our clients via email and telephone - professional communication skills (literacy, spelling, grammar, etc.) are essential.
Following all HIPPA, FAA, FCC and TSA guidelines at all times.
